I would like to encourage the Commission to think differently about proposals. In the end, no
doubt we'll be paying for them through bond issues. There are other options that I think should
be considered. Here are my suggestions:
Widen intersections on East-West streets at major intersections to include turn lanes to the
right, so at rush hours, traffic doesn't have to wait 3 turns of cycles of the light before
proceeding.
Commit property on the west side for the leasing of a major grocery store and pharmacy.
More $ for police enforcement of traffic violators, especially of red-light runners.
