City Commision Team, I believe an additional aquatics / swim center would be a major improvement to the city of Bozemanamenities as the current facility at Bozeman HS is not enough for a community of our size. Mypersonal usage / interest would be for regular lap swimming. The community overall could expandon the accessibility opportunities to the amazing health benefits of an aquatic center to many citizenswho are not able to utilize the center at Bozeman High School due to the number of programs andteams competing for time in that spot. Thanks for your consideration Bruce Jones On Mon, Sep 28, 2026 at 2:30 PM 'Beth B' via New Hyalite View Neighborhood<nhvn@googlegroups.com> wrote: On Tuesday, October 6, the City Commission will consider and prioritize several community needs, including affordable housing, a second library on the West side, emergency medical services, mental health response/care, a fourth fire station, and potentially a pool/aquatics center. The Commission is expected to consider factors such as urgency, the number of residents affected, community support, and the facility’s potential contribution to the community. The City is specifically interested in hearing from families and community members about: - What type of project Bozeman needs and wants - Who in your family or community would use it - How you currently use—or are limited by the lack of—local aquatic facilities, a second library, emergency medical service, or the fire station - Why you believe the need is timely If you would like to provide input, please send a brief, personal note to comments@bozemanmt.gov. Please include your name. You do not need to be a Bozeman resident to submit comments. The requested deadline is Friday morning, October 2, although earlier submissions are encouraged.
