I am emailing you to request this comment be read at the TIF board meeting on Thursday: Hello. My name is Taylor Pajunen and I am a recent graduate of MSU and resident ofBozeman. I apologize that I cannot attend this meeting. I am writing to request that the commission proactively take measures to cease or limit the city's investments in the harmfulindustries. I understand that the Innovation Campus is an open space to various industries and that the city does not have a say in tenants. The reality is that the Innovation Campus is opento and already has ties to weapons being used for genocide, under the guise of "defense". For future projects, I implore the city to be proactive in its investments to make sure that futureusers of city subsidized or funded lands cannot be tied to weapons manufacturing, AI data centers, and border wall construction. Bozeman has been moving on a path of being a city ofthese industries which is something we can mitigate if we are proactive. Which we still have time to be. I understand that technology districts are meant to be for the "development ofvalue-adding industries." These industries are built on death and destruction. Not value and human dignity. I hope that you can take this comment into consideration for this current and futurediscussions.
