The highly anticipated fall event features a thoughtfully curated collection of handmade work, including jewelry, ceramics, home goods, apparel, art, photography, body care, leather goods, accessories, and more. From affordable, functional pieces to one-of-a- kind heirloom work, the MADE fair offers something for a wide range of styles and budgets. The event begins Friday evening, October 9, with a special $10 VIP shopping event from 5–8 PM, followed by $5 Early Bird shopping Saturday from 9–10 AM. General admission is free Saturday from 10 AM–4 PM. Proceeds from VIP and Early Bird ticket sales will benefit Opera Montana, helping support its work bringing professional opera, musical theatre, education, and community-based arts programming to audiences throughout Montana. The impact of the MADE fairs extends well beyond the event floor. In 2025, HandMADE Montana events and retail store helped generate more than $2 million in direct sales for participating artists and contributed more than $35,000 to Montana nonprofit organizations through ticket proceeds and event partnerships. With hundreds of artists participating each year, the fairs also bring thousands of shoppers into host communities, supporting restaurants, lodging, retail, and other local businesses. This fall, HandMADE Montana is also introducing a new limited-edition artist-designed MADE fair tote bag, with 500 bags being given away during the VIP event. The tote program adds something special to the early shopping experience while increasing participation in the ticketed program that raises funds for a local nonprofit. HandMADE Montana is currently seeking business and community sponsors to help make the tote program possible. Sponsors can place their business logo on the reusable tote alongside other Montana businesses and organizations that value art, small business, community, and the creative economy. The bags will continue to be used long after the event, giving sponsors ongoing visibility while directly supporting an event program that generates funds for Montana nonprofits. Businesses interested in sponsoring the Bozeman Fall MADE fair tote can contact Carol Lynn Lapotka at info@handmademontana.com or 406.214.9078 for additional information. The MADE fair is more than a shopping event. It gives independent artists an opportunity to connect directly with customers while encouraging shoppers to choose thoughtfully made goods over mass-produced alternatives. The event also brings artists, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and shoppers together under one roof, strengthening Montana's creative economy and creating meaningful community connections. Attendees are encouraged to make a day or even a weekend of it — meet the makers, explore new artists, shop for the upcoming holiday season, and discover work they won't find in traditional retail stores. Join us for the Bozeman Fall MADE fair, October 9–10, 2026, at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse and celebrate another season of art, craftsmanship, small business, and community.
