COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2768 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AUTHORIZING THE BOZEMAN FIRE DE- PARTMENT TO ADVERTISE AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR SALE OF ONE 1970 FORD CAB-OVER SERI ES 8000 PUMPER TRUCK. WHEREAS, the voters of the City of Bozeman did on the 8th day of No- vember 1988 approve a special mill levy in an amount not to exceed 3.0 mills for the next two years for the purpose of funding a new fire pumper truck; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman did on the 16th day of January 1989 open the bids for said fire pumper truck; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman did on the 23rd day of January 1989 award the bid for one new fire pumper truck; and WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman anticipates delivery of the new fire pumper truck on or before January 1, 1990; and WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman no longer has need for the 1970 Ford Cab-Over Series 8000 pumper truck. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman: Sect ion 1 That the City of Bozeman shaJ I accept bids for the sale of one 1970 Ford Cab-Over Series 8000 pumper truck until 10: 00 a. m. on Monday, January 15, 1990, in the office of the Clerk of the Commission, City Hall, 411 East Main Street, Bozeman Montana, at which time they shall be opened and read aloud. The City Commission shall award the bid to the highest bidder at its regular meeting to be held at the hour of 2: 00 p.m. on said day. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received. In the event of a tie for the highest bid, preference will be given to the local bid. Sale of the truck shall be effective on that date or whenever the new fire pumper truck is in operable condition, whichever occurs last. Monies shall be remitted to the City at the time of delivery to the successful bidder. Section 2 Specifications for the 1970 Ford Cab-Over Series 8000 pumper truck may be obtained from Allen J. Shearman, Fire Chief, 34 North Rouse Avenue, or from Robin L. Sullivan, Clerk of the Commission, 411 East Main Street, Bozeman, Montana. -------------- ------ -.- .... '.. . CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA C ALL FOR BID S SALE OF ONE 1970 FORD CAB-OVER SERIES 8000 PUMPER TRUCK Sealed bids will be received by the Clerk of the Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, at her office in the Municipal Building, 411 East Main Street, Bozeman, Montana, until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 15, 1990, at which time the bids will be publicly opened, for the sa Ie of one 1970 Ford Cab-Over Series 8000 pumper truck, which is currently used by the Fire De- partment. The City Commission shall award the bid for said equipment at its regular meeting to be held at 2:00 p.m. on said day. Detailed specifications on the equipment to be sold may be obtained at the office of the Fire Chief, 34 North Rouse Avenue, or the office of the Clerk of Commission, 411 East Main Street, Bozeman, Montana 59771-0640, telephone number (406) 586-3321.
