Hello, This is my second time writing you regarding the proposed Fowler project between Oak and Durston streets. If you have not visited the site, I strongly recommend you do so. It s a very narrow strip of land. There is barely enough room for a two lane road and one row of housing. In order to move forward and match current improvements being made to outdated roadways in Bozeman, the road would need to be four lanes with a turn lane. The sheer volume of traffic cutting through neighborhoods, my household included, is staggering. As is the traffic on Oak and Durston streets. To suggest there is room for housing in the east and west sides of the property with a single lane road between is alarmingly shortsighted. I suggest preparing for future traffic needs rather than resorting to the same bandaids being implemented currently across the city and county. I have recommended to the Harvest Creek homeowner's board to be prepared to bring legal action as in the past homeowners' requests are usually ignored by the city in favor of builders' interests. To date the board has been resistant to do so,but their stance may change. I was informed there are conflicts of interests within the city council and those supporting overdevelopment of this tiny parcel of land. I would hope those with conflicts of interest on the city council and city development would recuse themselves as is ethical. Thank you for your time and consideration, Gwen Gorham
