Commissioners-Please accept my opposition to allowing a commercial building height of 90-feet. . I encourage and
implore the Commission change the height limit to no more than 70-feet,continuing with appropriate step backs.
The 70-foot limit is essentially a 5-story building.A 90-foot limit,a/k/a,7-story limit,will have profound impacts on
our downtown B-3 core. Don't risk jeopardizing our historic downtown by allowing high rise buildings to ruin its
character/historical splendor. If your still focusedon high rise buildings,do what Paris, France did and earmark a
designated place for them that won't compromise downtown. Enable the 4th/5th floors of 5-story buildings to
become the expensive real estate that commercial building developers pursue as prized expensive real estate and
their reward for building, rather than the 6th/7th floors. Either way,there's nothing involved here that pertains to
the affordable.At heart of this height conundrum is expensive dwellings.
