HomeMy WebLinkAbout26 - Professional Services Agreements - Nelson_Nygaard Consulting Associates, Inc. - GALLATIN VALLEY MPO LONG RANGE TRANSPORTATION PLAN First Amendment to Professional Services Agreement for Gallatin Valley MPO Long Range Transportation Plan FY 2025 – FY 2027 Page 1 of 3 FIRST AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR GALLATIN VALLEY MPO LONG RANGE TRANSPORTATION PLAN dated _May 6, 2025,_ (the “Agreement”) is made and entered into this 14th day of July, 2026, by and between the CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, a self governing municipal corporation organized and existing under its Charter and the laws of the State of Montana, 121 North Rouse Street, Bozeman, Montana, with a mailing address of PO Box 1230, Bozeman, MT 59771, hereinafter referred to as “City,” and Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates, Inc., hereinafter referred to as “Contractor.” In consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements herein contained, the receipt and sufficiency whereof being hereby acknowledged, the parties hereto agree to amend the Agreement as follows: 1. Scope of Services. The Scope of Services is expanded to include additional services related to development of the Gallatin Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization Long Range Transportation Plan. The Agreement shall include the following additional work: a. GIS Data Compilation and Integration. Contractor shall collect and organize GIS files from jurisdictions within the Metropolitan Planning Area (MPA); combine those files into a usable format for development of the Gallatin Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization’s Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP); and provide the compiled GIS files and related documentation to the City of Bozeman for use by the City and the Gallatin Valley MPO. b. Transportation Analysis Zone Population Projections. Contractor shall refine population projections for Transportation Analysis Zones (TAZs) throughout the MPA. This work shall include coordination with land use staff or teams from jurisdictions across the MPA to support locally informed estimates. The refined TAZ population projections shall be prepared for use in the gravity model hosted by the Montana Department of Transportation. Existing Plus Committed Model Run. Contractor shall conduct an Existing Plus Committed model run to establish baseline future conditions. The baseline model run shall be used to compare the three original alternatives and support development of the LRTP. d. Community Engagement. The community engagement scope is expanded to include three in-person open house/workshop-style events. The events shall include one meeting in each community, with specific locations and scheduling coordinated with the City and Gallatin Valley MPO. Contractor shall support preparation, facilitation, and documentation of feedback from these events. 2. Agreement Amount. The Agreement amount is increased by Fifty-Three Thousand One Hundred Fifty-Nine Dollars and No Cents ($53,159.00). The original Agreement amount was Three Hundred Forty-Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-Seven Dollars and Ninety-Five Cents ($347,997.95), inclusive of Task 4, Additional Transit Focus. The revised Agreement amount and contract ceiling are Four Hundred One Thousand One Hundred Fifty-Six Dollars and Ninety-Five Cents ($401,156.95). 3. Agreement still valid.
