Bozeman needs another public pool and library, please let us vote on a combined community center. Not being able
to install the bulkhead at the swim center decrease the quality of that pool greatly. Lap swim at less than 20 yards
per length is substandard. Long course means that citizens doing lap swim have to be consolidated into 2 lanes
while club swim gets the rest which is not ideal. Bogarts hours for recreational swim starting at 1 pm causes
crowding and missed opportunity for recreation in the am hours leaving families wanting. Both facilities are old and
even after a costly renovation on the swim center it feels worse off than before. Even the club swim team has to rely
on a private pool to accommodate them due to frequent closures. The splash park at Storymill is small and only
caters to Bozemans. Tax fatigue seems like a poor excuse for not putting a combined community center up for a
vote. Bozeman needs to do more for its citizens.
