Dear Mayor and City Commissioners,
I am writing to express deep regret that Mayor Morrison has
commented he will "work constructively" with ICE to make their
approach "safer, more effective, and more transparent".
ICE recently murdered three more people, with zero transparency.
As a militarized command, they have long demonstrated they do not
negotiate.
In Bozeman, have you noticed constant organizing against ICE, every
week, for two years now?
In Gallatin County, have you noticed daily assistance by citizens to
victims of ICE, since it arrived in Montana?
We are PEACEFULLY expressing and voicing our rejection of ICE.
How about making an announcement, as our elected representatives,
that you require all city employees to uphold and honor, for everyone in
Bozeman, at all times, the
1st Amendment
14th Amendment
to the U.S. Constitution.
We are watching.
