I’m also wondering if it would be worthwhile for someone from City staff to attend (e.g.,building codes enforcement). REPRESENT!
Note: There is a bit of a tug of war in the building science community between building a
(nearly) “perfect house” (e.g.,https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passive_house) and a “pretty good house”
(e.g., https://www.prettygoodhouse.org/). I tend to side with “pretty good” when it comes toaffordability and the current state of our workforce’s training. I think the right person from the
City could be a good addition to the conference towards this discussion. Also, what aboutmultifamily?
