Hello, from the sounds of it the commissioners are planning on spending so much of the general fund all the way down to the the minimum amount by 2028. Sounds like not very good management and horrible budgeting by the commission. Approving programs like Tenants Right to council and and increases to HRDC funding without knowing how to pay for them is the exact problem with liberal agendas. Additionally, if you increase property taxes, how can you realistically expect the property owners not to increase rents?? That’s how business works…when inputs increase, prices increase. Perhaps we should get someone on the commission that can actually balance a budget, and be accountable for how these hypothetical programs will be paid for. The people you are increasing taxes on surely did not want these programs intended for the few instead of the majority. Seems like a social agenda is continuing to get pushed through…the problem is we don’t want to pay for these programs. We want our taxes to go to NEEDS. How about infrastructure…safe streets and crossings so people stop getting killed by cars. How about improvements to traffic… how about water improvements. Time to get your priorities straight commission and focus on needs and not personal agenda wants. Sent from my iPhone
