Dear City of Bozeman Commissioners, I am a constituent of Bozeman reaching out to you with great concern about
the recent ICE activity and our local PD working alongside these agents. The department a few months ago made a
verbal statement that they wouldn’t not get involved with ICE if they were to come into Bozeman and it seems like
this was thrown by the wayside as soon as it became a reality. Bozeman PD has been escorting ICE around town to
help terrorize my neighbors, snatch working class folks up without any due process, and divide families in this
community. I’m asking you as representatives of our community to bring attention to this matter immediately and
demand the BPD not explicitly work alongside ICE in anyway. It’s utterly disgusting to see people that are supposed
to protect this community, paid for by my tax dollars and the tax dollars of my neighbors being kidnapped, are
helping out a federal force that does not care about people’s humanity or basic safety.
