To whom it may concern,
Montanans demand an explanation of why police and city officials are collaborating with ICE
in Bozeman. There is no excuse or valid explanation for collaboration of any kind with ICE inany city. It's not too late to stop participating in their terroristic campaign of murder and abuse
across this country.
Is the Bozeman police department retracting their stance on refusing to involve themselveswith ICE? Will the Bozeman police department and city officials continue to support ICE's
national terror campaign? Is the Bozeman police department prepared to take responsibility forthe violence that ICE will inflict on Montanans if allowed to operate with impunity?
Montanans will hold your departments responsible for the violence and death that will occur
under an ICE campaign in Bozeman. These attacks are inevitable under ICE, anyone who saysdifferently hasn't been paying attention. Do not make the same mistakes as cops in other cities
in believing that ICE agents are on your side. They will attempt to detain and deport you andyour colleagues as well, this is well documented. I will remind your department that you are
Montanans, you're locals, you live here. These agents will coerce you into assisting themthrough the process of brutally abusing and tearing apart the families of your friends, your
neighbors, parishioners of your church, your community members. You will continue to livehere long after they leave. You will have to look us in the eyes and be reminded of all the
times you stood with the agency whose primary function is to rip our families to shreds, detainour loved ones in obscene, inhumane conditions, and torment our neighborhoods.
I hope to hear back soon.
Sincerely,
Seeley Davidson
