Good afternoon,
My name is Claire Kirk. I am a citizen of Bozeman writing to express my concerns about the
Bozeman police departments involvement in the ICE raids this week. Bozeman police officerswere seen escorting ICE to their vehicles and protecting their hotel from protesters. In many
conservations with the Bozeman PD they have expressed that they are not assisting ICE withoperations in Bozeman. The behavior by the Bozeman PD this week is showing the opposite.
Our community is not more safe with ICE raiding our neighbors and bringing a sense of fearto our immigrant communities. Please stand with our community and put this matter on the
agenda. We want our police department to not cooperate and help ICE with theirunconstitutional and racist agendas in our town. Thank you.
