Hello,
It’s is shameful to see ICE terrorizing this community and that BPD is aiding and abetting that
effort. The police seem much more concerned with protestors reacting to the violence againstour community members rather than the violence itself. The city of Bozeman had every
opportunity to act as a sanctuary city, and the police assured that they were taking a stanceagainst ICE in response to community pressure, though now that the time is upon us, the city
is complacent and showing complete disregard for our vulnerable neighbors. These familiesbelong here, we must take care of each other, take anti-racist action, and pave the way for our
community and others to be and do better!
Make this community well; it is your responsibility. Meanwhile, it is the community that isstepping up in the hole that is created by this lack of action. We welcome our immigrant
neighbors, and you and our police department, which our tax dollars pay for, have theresponsibility to resist the terror being created for the people and families of our community.
Please take action against ICE in our community.
