you that the applicant will request a Municipal Facilities Exclusion from the Montana Department
of Environmental Quality (MDEQ). The project will be using public utilities for water, wastewater,
and stormwater infrastructure.

review and approval process rather than the MDEQ subdivision review process, as all water, sewer,
and stormwater facilities will be municipally owned, operated, and maintained.
Extent and Status of Infrastructure Reports
• Water and Sewer Design Reports: Complete engineering design reports will be prepared
and submitted to the City for review and approval prior to final plat approval. These reports
will also be reviewed and approved by MDEQ prior to final plat approval and construction.
All water and sewer designs will comply with the applicable City of Bozeman Design and
Construction Standards and MDEQ regulations.
• Stormwater Drainage Plan Report: A preliminary stormwater drainage plan is included
with this application. A full stormwater drainage plan report will be prepared and
submitted to the City for review and approval prior to final plat approval. All stormwater
designs and plans will comply with City of Bozeman Design and Construction Standards.
