I’m writing out of concern for the lack of attention to sustaining the current population of
Bozeman and the Greater Gallatin Valley. For every new development approved and installedyou (the city) are greatly impacting the lives of citizens currently living here.
Why is there not more attention being generated into signage along I-90 reminding peoplevisiting that we are a high desert and we are quickly running out of water? Why is there not
more education, resources and money being poured into alerting the entire population to anextreme event in the foreseeable future?
And I am asking myself, and starting to ask others, at what point do we start holding ourpoliticians and our city officials responsible for continuing to support the efforts of
outbuilding what our environment can sustain? How long before we citizens bring the lawsuitfor our elected officials practicing excessive irresponsibility and greed by continuing to build
and push for more people to move here? I hope we hold each and every one of you personally as well as publicly responsible when we
run out of our resources. I know I plan to and I look forward to the day we see you in court. STOP BUILDING AND PUT YOUR FOCUS ON SUSTAINING OUR CURRENT
COMMUNITY. STOP ADVERTISING MONTANA AND STOP ENCOURAGINGOTHERS TO MOVE HERE.
