To Whom it may concern:
After attending meetings on the Guthrie project it was quite clear
that something was fishy in Bozeman. City commissioners truly did not
seem to care what Bozeman citizens felt or were concerned about which
made me wonder what was up! Our new Mayor never responded to my email
despite the fact that he campaigned on an affordable housing platform
and he seemed content going along with using taxpayer money to
incentivize big developers to build unaffordable housing with little
to no parking and completely abandon the neighbors in the hood. It
smacks of money under the table and foul fish odor! It seems to have
affected a new commissioner, former school board member as well! SO
with that already in place it doesn’t seem to be advantageous for us
to partake in more incentives to wealthy developers by taking on money
from the OZ Program. MPG is destroying our country, it wasn’t
apparent in Bozeman for a long time, unfortunately now it is. Let’s
get back to Montana and have some concern for real Montana people.
Money - Power - Greed are not the way real Montana people live!
Sincerely,
Scott Mayer
