Dear Mayor Morrison:
The Department of Commerce has received the project completion report in compliance with
Section 10 of program authorization (House Bill 355) for the City of Bozeman for the water pipe
maintenance and repair on 12th, 13th, and 14th streets project. This letter serves as the Final
Closeout approval for contract#MT-SLIPA-25-066 and the project is considered complete.
According to the Department's financial records, the City of Bozeman expended $447,252.59
of the $447,252.60 in SLIPA grant funds awarded to complete this project, leaving $0.01
remaining of the authorized grant. According to the project completion report, all requests for
reimbursement have been processed and the remaining $0.01 will be recaptured by the
Montana Department of Commerce.
As the grant recipient, the City of Bozeman serves as the repository of all SLIPA related
records and files for this project. The City of Bozeman must retain all project records and
files for 5 years from the date of this Final Closeout approval — i.e., 5/13/2031.
