34 - Neighborhood Center Plan
Please see the responses below to the items requested in Section 28.220.060.A.15. in the
Bozeman Municipal Code.
Neighborhood center plan. A neighborhood center plan must be prepared and submitted for all
subdivisions containing a neighborhood center.
Because the land use for most of the subdivision property is not currently known, a
neighborhood center plan will be evaluated for each lot individually. Please refer to section
32 – Land Use for further information about the land use for the lots. According to BMC
30.410.020, any residential or planned unit development of ten net acres or greater will be
required a neighborhood center.
Only Lot A is anticipated to have residential land use at this time. For this reason, a
neighborhood center plan will be submitted with the future site plan application for Lot A.
The remainder of the property has high possibility for commercial, retail or other non-
residential uses making a neighborhood center plan unnecessary for the subdivision as a
whole. Once development plans are determined for the remainder of the property, any
residential developments will be subject to the requirements outlined BMC 30.410.020, and
may be required to provide a neighborhood center as applicable.
