Please see the responses below to the items requested in Section 38.220.060 – Additional
Subdivision Preliminary Plat Supplements in the Bozeman Municipal Code.
a. Indicate the proposed use and number of lots or spaces in each:
(1) Residential area, single-household;
(2) Residential area, multiple-household. Types of multiple-household structures and
numbers of each. (e.g., two or four unit structures);
(3) Condominium (number of units);
(4) Recreational vehicle park;
(5) Commercial or industrial; and
(6) Other (please describe).
The property was recently rezoned to B-2M (Community Business District - Mixed). The
developer wishes to subdivide the property into 2 lots with this application. Development
plans will be proposed with separate applications.
Lot A is currently anticipated to be developed with multi-family residential housing,
consisting of 9 apartment buildings and a total of 312 dwelling units. The development will
also include a clubhouse and an office building to serve residents. A site plan has been
submitted to the City for this proposed development (SP 25693).
At this time, there are no specific development plans for the remainder lot (Lot B). This
remainder lot will be further subdivided with subsequent applications. B-2M zoning allows
for a wide range of uses, with the primary intended use being commercial. Commercial
development is anticipated for the remainder of the property based on the location and
zoning of the property.
