Dear Commissioners Franks and Cestero -
Thank you for your hard work on enhancing and strengthening the Charter as it pertains to
neighborhoods and the role of public engagement in local governance.
Thank you also for using some of my suggested changes.
I am overall pleased with Article VIII Sections 1-3 in the May 20 draft version as of 3:02pm.
Please note that there is a remaining occurrence of the word “Inter-Neighborhood” thatrequires a hyphen.
I also noticed a typo: city “canager” should be "manager.”
I still have some reservations about INC being charged with working on new neighborhood
boundaries so I’d like to see some more discussion on that.
