COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2853
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONT ANA, TO AMEND THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE 1990
BOZEMAN MASTER PLAN UPDATE BY RE-CLASSIFYING
APPROXIMA TEL Y ELEVEN BLOCKS ON THE NORTHEAST SIDE OF
BOZEMAN, GENERALLY BOUNDED BY NORTH ROUSE A VENUE, EAST
PEACH STREET, AVOCADO STREET, NORTH BROADWAY AVENUE,
EAST LAMME STREET, NORTH WALLACE AVENUE AND EAST FRIDLEY
STREET, FROM -BUSINESS PARKIINDUSTRIAL - TO -URBAN
RESIDENTIAL INFILL..
WHEREAS, on the 29th day of October 1990, the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman did adopt Commission Resolution No. 2818, adopting the 1990 Bozeman Area
Master Plan Update; and
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of November 1991, the City Commission did initiate
a master plan amendment in land use designation for the subject area; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due and legally advertised proceedings,
hereby affirms the Written-Findings of Fact contained in the Planning Board Staff Report No.
P-9112, and determines that said master plan amendment is in the best interests of the
community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana, that the land use element of the 1990 Bozeman Area Master Plan
Update be amended by reclassifying approximately eleven blocks on the northeast side of
Bozeman, generally bounded by North Rouse Avenue, East Peach Street, Avocado Street,
North Broadway Avenue, East Lamme Street, North Wallace Avenue and East Fridley Street,
from "Business Park/Industrial" to "Urban Residential Infil!."
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana,
at a regular session thereof held on the 27th day of January 19
92, and effective
thirty days thereafter.
