To all the members of the Sustainability Board thank you for your support and participation in
this year's Earth Day events. Thank you especially to Commissioner Bode and Brooke for your appearance at the Earth
Day reusable bag poster contest. I believe it was a fine beginning to have the City of Bozemaninvolve our young students in Sustainability efforts in our community. Going forward with
the assistance of Natalie there will be the winning poster posted to remind customers to bringtheir reusable bags into the store. We are also hopeful to have a press release with positive
quotes from those involved and maybe a feature in the Chronicle. Thank you for your help inselecting the poster and promoting a practice to help reduce the use of microplastics in our
environment.
Also, thank you to Natalie along with the Bozeman solid waste staff for continuing withCleanup Day. Although it was a bit snowy that Saturday nevertheless it was an important
reminder to the community to be mindful of litter.
Thank you all again. I look forward to working with you in the future to continue putting intopractice efforts that promote Sustainability .
