Dear Commissioners:
Please pause allocation of funds to Innovation Campus developers
while the public has a chance to learn more about what the city agreed,
in allocating our tax monies.
TIF is usually used for decrepit land areas, for rehabilitation. The
reason here?
The public is learning, but do you know about the tenants you are
welcoming to Bozeman?
One, Reveal Tech advertises it provides a "revitalized defense
technology ecosystem" to "accelerate decisive action and enhance
lethality". Another, Metrea, provided surveillance operations to gather
intelligence over Gaza in 2024.
Please increase transparency about agreements--current and
pending--with the Innovation Campus developers, including overlapping
board members that could be conflict of interest.
The voters are your constituents, not those who seek corporate welfare
payments.
