Good evening,
I am writing to express concern regarding the difficulty my roommates and I experiencedwhen attempting to establish utilities for our rental property in Bozeman.
Specifically, we made repeated attempts over the course of three days to contact the Water andSewer Department by phone. We called multiple listed numbers several times each day but
were unable to reach anyone. On one occasion, a call was briefly answered but thenimmediately disconnected.
This made it very challenging to complete a time sensitive step in setting up our householdutilities. As someone who has previously worked in a public service role, I found this level of
inaccessibility concerning and not reflective of the standard of service the public shouldexpect.
I understand that offices can be busy, but I would appreciate any clarification on how residentsare best able to reach the department, or whether there are alternative contact methods that
should be used.
