Dear Commission, I am appalled that in this day and age we still allow trapping of wild animals near areas of high
populations. In Bozeman large numbers of people use nearby trails to recreate each day. The trails in the Bridgers
and those in Hyalite Canyon are heavily used by this rapidly growing city. Traps endanger those hikers, their children
and their pets. There is still room for trapping in Montana at a distance much further away from the high density
recreation areas. Please add a ban on trapping in areas of the Bridger Range and Hyalite Canyon to the 2026-27
