As a homeowner in Harvest Creek for several years, I am deeply concerned about the FowlerHousing Development proposal. My property at 1026 New Holland Drive will be directly impacted by the increased traffic congestion and the sheer scale of this project. Buildingeighty-four units with four to five stories on a narrow 150-foot strip of land is an inappropriate use of this space. The proposal forces traffic from nearly 170 vehicles onto residential streetslike Farmall and Caterpillar, which were never designed for this volume. This lack of direct access to Fowler Avenue creates a significant safety risk for our neighbors and children. The current plan also fails to honor the 2017 purchase agreement to preserve existing openspaces and the irrigation ditch. Beyond the environmental impact and loss of green space, the inadequate parking provisions of only 1.67 spaces per unit will inevitably lead to overflowparking clogging our neighborhood streets. We have been promised a consensus-based engagement process starting in 2026, and I believe any immediate zoning actions wouldundermine that commitment to community collaboration. While I believe in finding solutions for housing affordability, those solutions should not come at the cost of the safety andcharacter of existing neighborhoods. I ask the City Commission to scale back this density to a model more similar to Bridger View, ensuring a respectful transition with proper setbacks androadway buffers that protect the privacy and quality of life for those of us who have lived here for years.
