As a homeowner on Daisy Drive for the past ten years, I am disheartened by a plan that places four-story buildings and 168 cars directly against thebackyards of my neighbors. This sliver of land is simply too narrow for such high density. Forcing traffic from nearly a hundred units onto residential streets like Farmall and Caterpillar—roads never designed for this volume—is a recipe for gridlock and safety hazards. I walk and bike these paths almost every day, and I see how many of our children use these routes to get to school. Adding this level of congestion without any access from FowlerAvenue itself is irresponsible. Furthermore, when the city purchased this land in 2017, there was a commitment to preserve the greenspace, irrigation ditches, and trees. This proposal feelslike a rush to maximize units while ignoring the environmental impact and the wildlife that still moves through this corridor. These units are not truly affordable for Bozeman families, yet they come at a massive cost to our neighborhood’s livability and safety. I ask that you honor the consensus process agreed upon in January and shift the design toward a lower-density model like Bridger View, which respects setbacks and keeps the traffic on arterial roads. Please do not move forward with zoning actions that undermine the collaborativeprocess we were promised. Doreen Brown
