Greetings, Commissioners,
I'm writing to add my voice to the many who I hope are also writing to you in support of
constructing safe routes for cyclists in the Gallatin Valley.
Bozeman is a global recreation destination - and yet there remain no safe routes along Kagy,Huffine, Frontage Road, Bridger Canyon Drive, Jackrabbit, and many other roads on which
visitors and residents move around this valley.
This is not only a missed opportunity, but a real risk to cyclists. Witness the recent fatality andgrave injury suffered by cyclists in just the past month on West Babcock. Entirely foreseeable,
entirely preventable.
Please do what you can to plan and construct safe bike routes around the valley. Residents andvisitors will thank you!
Sincerely,
Eleanor Barker824 S Tracy Avenue
