Dear Commissioners,
Please, please, please consider pedestrian and bike safety in the upcoming transportationmaster plan. I am a Bozeman resident and a mother of two young children. We regularly bike
around town with our kids. There are many times that this has felt unsafe, or like aquestionable decision due to unsafe crossings of roads where pedestrian safety is not
considered or with unmarked bike lanes. This is even when we consider the safest and lowesttraffic routes possible to our destinations and when we stay on paths as much as possible. I
urge you to consider ranking safety as a higher priority in this upcoming master plan so thatBozeman residents can feel safe biking and walking around their neighborhoods or commuting
to and from school and work. Thank you!
