Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Good afternoon, Commission, My name is Chase Anders, and I live full-time at 1543 Ryun Sun Way. I have an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) above my garage, which we have operated as a short-term rental (STR)since 2019. I am writing to encourage you to revise the regulations to allow Type 2 STRs, or at the very least, to grandfather in the current Type 2 STRs. We take great pride in our rental, which provides us with substantial income. A transition froma short-term rental to a long-term rental would not generate the same level of income, and we might not even consider offering it as a long-term option. Please consider updating the Unified Development Code (UDC) to include Type 2 rentals.Thank you for your time and consideration. Best regards, Chase Anders
