I am very concerned about this situation. The zoning is one issue. Even more concerning is
extending Annie to a round about at the proposed Fowler RdAnnie is a street that many children use to get to Emily Dickson Elementary School.
Attaching a road (Fowler) to Annie creates a very dangerous situation with additional trafficand speeding cars. We are seeing numerous accidents and deaths throughout the valley
involving pedestrian involvement. Annie should remain as a child protective neighborhoodstreet not a dangerous freeway. If Durston or Oak are busy you can bet people will begin to
use Annie as a new “pass thru” at higher speeds. And don’t bother to comment on what thecity will do to control the speeds. This situation is being ignored all over the town of
Bozeman. I mentioned this to a police person and he responded that “we just don’t haveenough staff to take care of this problem. Many rather than waste money on another
unnecessary road spend the resources on more police traffic control. Over the years we haverequested some help (city calls it “traffic calming”)to slow vehicles down. No luck. Just talk
