Please prioritize funding for the enhancement of bike and walking safety. We need more flashers at more sidewalks
on busy roads like Willson and Oak. Attention to safety bike routes to all area schools is also important. We have a
6-year old who bikes and walks to school as well as to other activities. We worry about him at intersections with no
stop signs, and when he heads to Sacajawea in a few years, there is currently no bike route from our house that feels
viable.
Thank you for the flashers that have been put in! And we also appreciate what appears to be stronger enforcement of
speed limits around the elementary schools. We appreciate it! And on the latter, I say go for it, throughout the city.
We have way too many speedsters around.
