I am glad I caught Mark Egge's opinion piece in the Bozeman Chronicle the other day. I am
new to the area and Bozeman's walkability was a strong factor in my husband's and mydecision to relocate across the country. I would like to emphasize to the board how important
safe pedestrian crossings are. PLEASE prioritize pedestrian safety in your futuretransportation plans. I will say that crossing Main Street at 19th is scary even with the walk
signal. I'd also like to comment on how wonderful it is to have the free bus service as anoption. Please don't ever change that.
