DATE: April 12, 2026 SUBJECT: Public Comment Hanson Lane Annexation, Application 25775 TO: City of Bozeman, comments@bozeman.net FROM: Mark Pearson Harvest Creek Subdivision 2942 Lily Drive, Bozeman, MT 59718 I am writing to the Community Development Board and City Commission to express my opposition to the proposed R-B zoning for the Hanson Lane annexation, Application 25775. As a resident/homeowner of Lily Drive for over twenty years, I am concerned with how Bozeman is growing and how new residential developments need to be compatible with existing residential developments. The proposal by the City of Bozeman to have R-B, relatively high-density mixed development adjacent to R-1 or R-2 single-family homes both south, east, and west is inappropriate and clearly goes against the character of the existing, lower density, residential developments. An R-A zoning classification would be far more compatible with the existing development pattern while still meeting the goals of the Community Plan. Sincerely, Mark Pearson
