Dear Commissioners: I am writing with concern about the planned annexation of Hanson Lane to extend Annie Street as part of the Fowler Avenue Connector and to approve R-B zoning in the area aroundit. This plan will irreparably harm both my property value and quality of life as a Harvest Creek homeowner since 2014. Currently, my front porch overlooks a beautiful stand of old-growth trees that are home toeagles, pheasants, and even northern bobwhite. The traffic is steady from New Holland but manageable. Both Durston and Oak are close, enabling easy transit out of the neighborhood. Every property within my viewshed is a single-household residential property. Zoning it forhigh-rise development would be hugely detrimental to every home in both Harvest Creek and neighboring Oak Springs. Combining that with a giant roundabout at Annie and Fowler wherecars can avoid logical existing transit routes will turn our quiet neighborhood into a nightmarish speedway leading into an inexplicable, micro-sized urban high-rise zone. I recognize that Bozeman needs housing. However, I am hearing from contractors and otherconstruction folks that the existing high-density housing is going unfilled. Why would we build more in the middle of two established neighborhoods? On every level of government, I am unrepresented. The federal government has taken us into anew war and is destroying everything from USAID to the Forest Service. The state government wastes our time and money defining gender and preventing trans people fromgoing to the bathroom in public. And now my city government is steamrolling me and my neighbors so they can adhere to a plan that no longer makes sense and that no one is askingfor. Please stop building the Bozeman of the "future" over the top of the people who live here in the present. Sincerely, Nicole Rosenleaf Ritter3250 Annie Street
