To Whom It May Concern:
I am opposed to connecting Annie Street to Hanson Lane. It would be a needless change to
convert Annie Street into a through street in western Bozeman. It will only create traffic
congestion in a residential neighborhood that cannot actually serve anyone commercially.
Annie Street is fundamentally residential. There is also an elementary school that would be
hampered by increased traffic.
I live in the Harvest Creek area, and I am also opposed to the construction of 3 to 4 story
residence buildings along the extension of Fowler Avenue (between Durston Road and W Oak
Street). It would be better if the City of Bozeman constructed affordable housing of only 1 to 2
stories in that area in order to maintain the character and integrity of the area. 1 to 2 story
residences are also easier to manage and maintain in the long term.
