To whom it may concern -
I am writing to comment on the STR changes brought on by the recent UDC zone changes.The city's own UDC FAQ page told the public that zoning changes would be "harmonized"
with short-term rental regulations and that "substantive changes are not expected." Neither ofthose things happened. The city quietly eliminated Type 1 and Type 2 permits in RA zones,
didn't notice for two months, and then started enforcing it. Although my STR permit is not affected by the changes, it worries me to know that our zoning
regulations for STR could change without notice or public discussion. I hope the city ofBozeman can find a way to protect legacy STR's the way they have done in the past.
