I am making a comment about the need for affordable transportation from Bozeman to the airport. It is shocking that this is a service that a city like Bozeman does not have, for an airport that is miles away from the city. You can take an affordable bus from Athens, GA to the airport in
Atlanta, GA, which is 2 hours away. This is something Bozeman could implement. Maybe this wasn't as much of an issue when parking was free or cheap at the airport, but it no longer is. Beyond the costs it would save, it's a quick fix for reducing driving, traffic, and emissions. To fund it,maybe a system where those visiting Montana pay a bus ticket to get to Bozeman (a common thing to do when traveling), and those with Montana driver's licenses or Gallatin County library cards pay no fee or a nominal fee. It seems like this could be implemented at minimal cost to the
city and maximum benefit. (Unless, of course, the limo companies or ride-share companies have a say in preventing this?) This seems like a no-brainer for improving the city, experiences of those living in Bozeman and visiting, and reducing our environmental impact and costs. Thankyou for your consideration.
