Dear Director of Community Development, We are homeowners that live approx 1 block from the proposed building site. We are not necessarily opposed to this building but would more clarity on a number of points. 1: The plan that we have seen is unclear on the height of the building. Our concern, if too high will not be compatible with the heights of exiting buildings. 2: The project will undoubtedly develop the need for more parking. However the plan is not entirely clear where the parking will be and how many spaces. Moreover we are concerned where the members of the sorority will park during construction. In particular Fourth Street is very narrow with already dense homeowner parking. Snowplowing, garbage pick up etc will be affected. 3: Although for safety reasons, we recognize the need for adequate lighting, there is a danger of negative effects of light pollution. For this reason, we need more specific details on the lighting. Sincerely, Jill Davenport and Jim Goetz Jill Davenport
