I am writing in protest of the plans for the lot at 112 South Church Street. The block already has one large building
and the lot is really too small to add another. There are two other lots nearby—the former Salvation Army lot and
another east of it across from the building housing Little Star Cafe that are going to be developed. I assume that
those will both have multi-story buildings on them since that this the building trend in town. I really do not think
cramming an another large building in the area is necessary or needed especially since there is currently an 18%
vacancy rate in town.
