NOTICE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD CERTIFICATE OF
APPROPRIATENESS & DEMOLITION APPLICATION
This application is evaluated against the demolition of an unsafe structure criteria of section
38.240.020 of the Bozeman municipal code (BMC) and associated standards. Per 38.740.070.B,
BMC, approval is granted if all criteria are met.
The public may comment in writing regarding compliance with this application with the
required criteria. Comments should identify the specific criteria of concern along with facts in
support of the comment. Per 38.760.030, BMC, issues not raised during public comment period
may not be raised on appeal. During the notice period the City will continue to review for
compliance with applicable regulations. Written comments may be directed to: City of Bozeman

Summary: This is a Neighborhood Certificate of Appropriateness (NCOA) application to demolish an
existing single-family residence and construct a new single-family residence with an attached garage that
is accessed off the alley. The new structure is approximately 4287 square feet and 29 feet tall. The existing
garage on property will be converted into a studio space. The structure is not considered historic, nor does
it contribute to any potential historic district. The property is zoned R-A.
