To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to oppose the removal of the mature trees at 321 N. 5th Ave. I
volunteered at the facility years ago with my therapy dog and was able, like the
residents at that time to appreciate the trees on the grounds of the building. Not only
did they provide shade and home to the birds, but represented the only nature that
many of the residents were able to enjoy.
It is ridiculous to think that in developing Bozeman we can't appreciate and respect
the nature that is present. We live in Montana, and with all the impact of global
warming we should be that much more appreciative and respectful of oursurroundings and the elements within it that can protect our community from the
effects.
