Good evening Commissioners, My name is Paige Frumkes, and I’m studying Environmental Science at Montana State
University. I strongly support the Student Advisory Council (SAC). Students make up a significant part of Bozeman’s
population. We are directly impacted by decisions about housing, transportation, land use, and climate resilience.
As students, we are studying these very issues and are eager to contribute thoughtfully and constructively. Because
the seat is non-voting, SAC would not change decision-making authority — it would simply ensure student
perspectives are consistently represented, while allowing students to have insights into the interworking of the city
commission for their professional careers. Inclusive governance leads to stronger, more informed outcomes.
Bozeman is our home, and many of us hope to build our futures here. I urge you to pass the SAC initiative and
strengthen collaboration between the City and its students. Thank you.
