Dear Community Development Director:
I support the Bozeman Tree Coalition's response to Demolition Application #25667 requestingthe trees be left alive, in place, and maintained in good health until the lawsuit is resolved for
Appeal #24493.
In the City’s “Belonging in Bozeman” Plan, Goal 3 under Community Resiliency includes,“ensure investments in the urban tree canopy are equitably distributed acrossneighborhoods.” Midtown is rapidly losing its urban tree canopy! Some photos of recentlylost trees below.
In addition, I request that in the upcoming NCOD update, the demolition application criteria is
updated to better prohibit demolition by neglect.
