Dear Community Development Director:
I support the Bozeman Tree Coalition's response to Demolition Application#25667 requesting
the trees be left alive, in place, and maintained in good health until the lawsuit is resolved for
Appeal#24493.
In the City's "Belonging in Bozeman" Plan, Goal 3 under Community Resiliency includes,
"ensure investments in the urban tree canopy are equitably distributed across
neighborhoods."Midtown is rapidly losing its urban tree canopy! Some photos of recently
lost trees below.
In addition, I request that in the upcoming NCOD update, the demolition application criteria is
updated to better prohibit demolition by neglect.
