Dear Community Development Director: I support the Bozeman Tree Coalition's response to
Demolition Application #25667 requesting the trees be left alive, in place, and maintained ingood health until the lawsuit is resolved for Appeal #24493. In the City’s “Belonging in
Bozeman” Plan, Goal 3 under Community Resiliency includes, “ensure investments in theurban tree canopy are equitably distributed across neighborhoods.” Midtown is rapidly losing
its urban tree canopy. In addition, I request that in the upcoming NCOD update, the demolitionapplication criteria is updated to better prohibit demolition by neglect. Thank you for your
