Dear City Commissioners,
I am writing to express my support for the appeal to allow Sundance Springs Commercial Lot2 to be developed in a way that supports and serves the surrounding neighborhood.
I believe this project would be a positive addition to the area. Creating a neighborhood thatincludes homes along with small offices or neighborhood-serving shops gives people more
opportunities to live, work, and spend time close to home. Having places nearby whereresidents can grab coffee, visit a small business, work in a local office, or meet up with
neighbors helps build a stronger sense of community.
Spaces like this can serve as gathering points — places where neighbors run into one another,
support local businesses, and build relationships. That kind of everyday interaction helpscreate safer, more connected neighborhoods. It also gives residents more options to work
nearby, shop locally, and spend time within their own community rather than traveling acrosstown. When people can walk or bike for everyday needs, it reduces short car trips and helps
ease traffic in the surrounding area.
Allowing thoughtful, small-scale commercial or office use in this location supports the
neighborhood without changing its character. It adds value for the people who already livethere by making daily life more convenient and more connected.
For these reasons, I respectfully ask that you approve the appeal. I believe this project wouldbe a positive addition to the neighborhood and to Bozeman as a whole.
