I support Special Elections to fill vacancies on the City Commission. Appointments circumvent
the opportunity for constituents to choose who represents them. And I certainly don't feel like
I am being represented currently. I have spoken at previous City Commission meetings and
then witnessed Commissioners vote on issues against the majority of public comment. Not
democratic at all.
